Explanation of the Exam
This scan produces cross-sectional x-ray images of the paranasal sinuses and facial bones. It is most often used to diagnose anatomic abnormalities of the nose and paranasal sinuses in people prone to sinusitis. It is also used to assess facial fractures and other bone lesions.

15-30 minutes

Please arrive at Registration 15 minutes prior to your appointment. Please inform the staff if there is any possibility of PREGNANCY at the time of scheduling your appointment.
